Eyeshadow Addict

(Blogger formatting sucks. I have no idea how this is going to turn out) Also, I googled images bc the sale-site pics don't really reflect the colors.

I wouldn't call it a "problem" because it doesn't interfere with my daily activities and I'm not
forgoing food to fund my habit. I would, but since I don't have to, that point is irrelevant. But I do love to take the time in the morning to mix and match different colors and have fun with my makeup. Hence the reason I'm a bit late every morning.

The first palette I picked up was Urban Decay's Sustainable Shadows. You can't really see the colors, but they're so pretty and sparkly and fun.
The next one I HAD to have was UD's Naked palette. Because everyone said it was OMGthemostawesomeamazingsetEVER. So I got one. And thepeople were right. L-O-V-E. The colors are stunning and are such a wide range of neutrals that you can use any/ all of the colors and it's going to look great.

And a few weeks ago I was at TJMaxx and happened to see an eyeshadow set that makeup bloggers were all raving about: The Balm's The Balm and the Beautiful. Such fun and diverse colors. There are 3,689 bloggers (rough estimate) who have swatched the colors. And exactly 0 who have posted looks created with the colors. Oh so helpful. :eyeroll: (Except that one girl who used Mailman- bright blue as her "look"-- that one doesn't count.) The colors layer and blend well, but they don't stay on as long as the awesome UD shadows. The blush/ lipgloss things aren't even worth the effort. They're all hard. And neon.

Which leads me to next up on my I-really-really-want-this list. The UD Mariposa palette. Look at how pretty those colors are! But then I don't need it, because there are only three colors in the set that I don't already have. Which is the biggest drawback of having a few sets already. I'll wait until the next set that I cannot live without.
So, there you go. Blog post. BAM! Sorry, I can't help myself. This is what really goes on in my head, which is what a blog post is anyways. Right? Bueller? Bueller?
